• Monsters thinking that they’re too weird for humans to love so they try to make themselves more human looking and slowly destroying themselves

• Monsters seeing human movies and getting aroused when they see the sex scenes and hear certain human noises
• Humans thinking they’re not good enough for their monster and trying to make themselves more monstrous for their lovers
