I wanted to get creative with the foods he likes because there’s some foods or eating behaviors that never get any attention. Thank you again for asking!
Claude lo-o-oves spicy foods, salty foods, anything with meat in it, and sweets. Since London’s curry scene satisfies three of the four, he frequents curry joints when he has free time to go into the city.
His favorite dish growing up is actually tripe soup. His Romanian grandfather made it every time he visited, all the way up until his death when Claude was 13. Claude’s actually never found a single tripe soup recipe that matches up to his grandfather’s, which really pisses him off.
Claude is the opposite of a stress-eater. Put him in a stressful situation and his appetite shuts down entirely. After a battle, he actually inadvertently ends up fasting for a day so his appetite can recover. Sadness is the same way, he can’t eat if he gets too sad.
The man. Does not. Like. Chocolate! Seriously, one of the only people alive who doesn’t! He actively hates the stuff, and nobody has any idea why.
He adores fruity beverages, and always asks for the girliest drinks on the menu whenever he goes out drinking with his fellow Hellsing operatives. He can’t stand the taste of alcohol in the slightest.
If a food is a dessert, he will consume the absolute hell out of it. Under no circumstances should you expose him to too much of the stuff, because he is fully willing and able to eat an entire cake if the opportunity presents itself. It hasn’t happened more than a couple times, but any time the Hellsing Organization has a party or celebration, they have to keep a pair of guards on duty to keep him away from the dessert table.
His guilty pleasure food is the only thing that’s actually earned him a look of disgust from any Hellsing higher-up who witnesses it. A grilled cheese sandwich that contains a sample of every cheese in the Hellsing Manor kitchen. Even those with completely conflicting flavors. He has no idea why he likes the combination so don’t bother asking him.

I love my spicy foods, salty foods, meats and my sweet tooth can get very highkey sometimes!
I’m the same with drinks really, love fruity stuff, especially on ice!
I’m also dying reading about Claude’s assaults on dessert tables; can you imagine him crashing a wedding just to eat the desserts-
