Soo, I caught some inspiration the other day and spent the last couple days writing this! Be warned: This update is very long. A lot of important plot stuff vis-a-vis Claude happens.
Thanks again to @herushingu / @scintillant-h (Not sure how you wanted to be tagged, sorry!) for sending me the ask that gave me some ideas for some of these plot points.
Also, if you’re able, I’d really appreciate feedback, critiques, questions, anything to let me know what you think of the story so far! I greatly enjoy reading everyone’s thoughts about it! 🙂 Hope you all enjoy!

I love that his powers aren’t “just psychic” and there’s some foundation sort of explaining things, the whole “seeing his death-world.” But I love that it ties Claude to canon storyline, essentially validating canon completely while not invalidating Claude’s (living) story. I do that, too, though I use a coma, unconnected to Schrodinger, and didnt go the extra effort to come up with any alternative notions. Its awesome to see such an alternative, and on such solid ground. ❤
Tying it to Schrodinger while Millennium is interested in Claude was a good idea. This would, logically, only make Millennium MORE interested in him and better helps the reader connect Millennium having good reasons for wanting to keep Claude. Even without use of his ability they can dissect him to further their own knowledge and make stronger soldiers. 😉
And finally… HUG THE MAN, HUG HIM ALL DAMN D A Y!!!!!
Thank you for the feedback, it’s greatly welcome! And don’t worry, Claude will get plenty of hugs in the future, but it’ll take some time to get there. He’s going to be stuck with Millennium for a while.
